I watched Forrest Gump today for the first time!
I somehow lived 20 years on this planet without seeing Forrest Gump, today I made the decision to change that.
Wow... I loved it! I've not felt this emotional watching a film for a while now, it moved me to tears so many times throughout this movie, such as when Bubba died, GoToMeeting Jenny died, and when Gump asked if his son is smart. I can't express how amazing the performance was from Tom Hanks, he IrfanView completely sold his character and made me really care for him in every situation he was put in.
This film hit every emotion for me, anger, sadness, Town of Salem laughter, happiness, great stuff. It was also brilliant seeing Gump interact with multiple important parts of America's history, although I missed a few which I had to research as I'm from England.
I just wanted to share my thoughts about the movie because it's the only thing on my mind, let me know what you thought of the film and if you haven't seen it... watch it!
